The Whole Dog Check

A focused first step to understand what's really going on for your dog

If your dog is struggling and you're not sure why, the Whole Dog Check looks at behaviour, movement and physical comfort together. You'll come away with a clear picture of what might be driving your dog's behaviour and the most important next steps.

This isn't a quick fix. Lasting change rarely happens in one session, because behaviour, comfort and emotions are usually connected. A dog who's sore may be quicker to react, and a dog who's stressed may move and rest differently. Changing one piece often affects the others. The Whole Dog Check is the first step: understanding what's really going on, so any changes you make are the right ones.

How it works

1. Before your session: you complete a questionnaire and send two or three short videos of your dog. I'll tell you exactly what to film.

2. Your session: a 90-minute video call (or in-person if appropriate) where I talk you through what I've seen, what might be going on and what to focus on first.

3. Afterwards: within 5 working days, you'll receive a one-page summary of key observations and next steps.

What's included

  • review of your questionnaire and videos before we meet

  • a 90-minute video consultation (or in-person if appropriate)

  • a written one-page summary, including whether a vet check is recommended

  • two or three practical things you can start straight away

  • a recommendation for the best next step for your dog, which might be a vet check, a referral to another professional, a few simple changes at home, or the Whole Dog Programme

What's not included

  • a full behaviour or training plan

  • follow-up calls or ongoing email support

  • veterinary diagnosis or treatment

If you decide to join the Whole Dog Programme within 30 days, the full cost of your Whole Dog Check comes off the programme price, so you never pay twice for the same assessment.

“Tracey is incredible. She has been integral to getting the help my girl needed to be pain free and living a very happy life. I would not hesitate to take any of my dogs to see her.”

“Marley and I attended this [Active Ageing] workshop today. Marley is 11 years old and doing great. I wanted to learn more about how I can help Marley as he gets older. I just lost a 16 year old cockerpoo ❤️🐾❤️ and really want to learn how I can help my Marley as best as I can. Tracey was amazing. Her knowledge is immense and Marley had such a great time. He’s clueless that he’s moving into the older gent zone and approached every activity with enthusiasm. The workshop made me think about how much we don’t know and how much more we can do for our dogs… without huge expense, just knowledge. Thanks so much for this workshop. I’m looking forward to attending more. Marley’s health and well being is my priority. Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🙏”
