Recovery & Wellbeing MOT for Dogs in Plymouth
Invest In Your Dog’s Long-Term Wellbeing
Is your dog a sports or working dog. Or maybe they love long walks, zoomies at the park, or weekend adventures? Perhaps they’re slowing down a little and you want to keep them comfortable and mobile for longer?
Our Recovery & Wellbeing MOT is a gentle, proactive wellness check designed to help your dog move well, recover faster, and relax more deeply.
This wellness service is ideal for dogs of all ages and activity levels. It may include:
✔️ A movement check involving photos and videos to spot subtle changes in posture, gait, or muscle tension.
✔️Fitness exercises tailored to your dog’s age, breed, and lifestyle.
✔️A follow-up email with an actionable fitness plan for you to continue at home
✔️A private folder for you to upload videos of you working with your dog for feedback
“Tracey is incredible. She has been integral to getting the help my girl needed to be pain free and living a very happy life. I would not hesitate to take any of my dogs to see her.”
Why choose a proactive dog wellbeing service?
Too often, dog owners only notice signs of stiffness, discomfort, or reduced mobility when the problem is already well established. Our Wellbeing MOT helps you stay ahead — giving your dog the best chance to stay active, comfortable, and happy for years to come.
This service is for general wellbeing and is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical condition. If your dog has a pre-existing health condition, we’re happy to work alongside your vet to ensure these sessions are safe and beneficial.
What Happens In A Session?
Each session lasts around 60 minutes and takes place at Happy Pets, PL6 7DD on a Saturday or Sunday
Depending on your dog, here’s what we might cover:
✔️ A movement check involving photos and videos – looking at posture, gait, and any early signs of tension.
✔️Tailored fitness exercises – simple strengthening and balance work to keep joints and muscles strong.
✔️ Tips and advice to help you continue your dog’s wellbeing care at home.
Who Is This For?
Our Recovery & Wellbeing MOT is perfect for:
✔️Sports or working dogs – to enhance performance, promote recovery and reduce risk of injury
✔️Senior dogs – helping them stay mobile and comfortable as they age.
✔️ Active dogs – supporting recovery after walks, play, or sport.
✔️ Young dogs – laying the foundations for healthy movement as they grow.
✔️ Small breeds – addressing the unique posture and movement challenges smaller dogs often face.
✔️ Any dog whose owner wants to stay ahead of problems and invest in long-term health.
